Questions

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Conversion runs inside your browser, so your videos never leave your device. That's also why there's no file size paywall.

Is it really free?

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark, no limit on how many files you convert.

How big can my files be?

Up to about 2 GB each. Very large files depend on how much memory your device has.

Why is it slower on my phone?

Your device does the work, so a laptop will usually be quicker than a phone. Keep the tab open until it finishes.

What's the best format for email?

Email plays H.264 video best. Keep files under 15 MB and use 854 × 480 (480p) or 1280 × 720.
